NHS Somerset response to publication of NHS Digital General Practice Access Data (GPAD) for the first time
“It’s been disappointing for a number of our GPs to see that there are inaccuracies in the data published today. This includes data showing a number of practices are seeing very few patients face to face, when in fact they are performing well above average. We understand this has been caused by a problem with computer systems. The UK Health Security Agency in the South West is urging everyone eligible for a free flu vaccine and a COVID-19 booster to take up the offer as soon as possible ahead of what could be a difficult winter with respiratory viruses circulating widely.

NHS Somerset has been working intensively with Burnham and Berrow Medical Centre to deal with a number of difficulties that were affecting the service for patients.
