Update - 17.01.23

Thank you so much for your feedback in our online questionnaire 'Help shape Somerset’s health and care strategy & plans – what matters most to you?' which went live on 5th January 2023.

After listening to the public and our stakeholders, we have updated our survey to 'Building a Healthier Somerset Together' and have made it easier for the public and others, to understand and complete, by reducing the number of questions and clearly linking to questions to the five key aims for health and care in Somerset.

We have already had over 200 responses to the initial survey since 5th January and will include findings and themes from these questionnaires to feed into the wider consultation and engagement work we are doing to build a healthier Somerset together.

The update survey can be accessed using the same link (as shared below) and the questionnaire will remain open until Sunday 5th March 2023.

In Somerset the way we deliver health and care is changing. Public services are working together to plan and buy health and care services. Somerset County Council and the NHS in your area, want you to have access to the best possible health and care now and into the future.

You are one of 580,000 residents in Somerset. We want to hear from you to help us make sure that everyone can live well, supported by thriving communities, with access to high quality public services when you need them.

Based on what you’ve told us we have developed five key aims for health and care in Somerset.

We will listen to what you say and develop a plan around how we build a healthier Somerset together, taking your views into account. We would like you to spend ten minutes helping us to answer this survey.
