Local people aged 16 and over are urged to pop along to two COVID-19 vaccination clinics being held in the car park of the Minehead Community Hospital on Tuesday 24 August, Wednesday 25 August and Tuesday 7 September from 10am – 6pm.

Caroline Upton, Head of Nursing and Quality for the Somerset vaccination programme, said: “We have already held a very successful pop-up clinic in Minehead and are holding two more because we want to make it as easy as possible for local people who are eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccination.”

“Having your jabs is the most effective way of protecting yourself and others from serious illness as a result of coronavirus. Please pop along to our clinics in Minehead on Tuesday 24 August and Tuesday 7 September. Our friendly vaccinators will put you at your ease and will also be able to answer any questions you have.”
