Rebecca Duffy

I have been a qualified GP for almost 30 years, nearly 20 of which have been working in Somerset. I have a breath of experience having worked as a locum, an associate and a GP Partner both in Somerset and Tayside. I participated in OOHs work until 2019. I have had a portfolio career with several senior leadership roles and a strong background in medical education. Currently I am the senior partner at Mendip Country Practice, Coleford, where I am a trainer. I am also the Clinical Director of Mendip PCN, which is one of 22 PCNs in England participating in the National PCN Test Site project. I continue to undertake NHS GP appraisals and contribute to wider GP Educations as a facilitator for GP Clinical and Educational Supervisors Courses and as a SPEX Tutor (program to give additional support to trainees with improving their consultation skills). I have recently been appointed to the GP Support Unit Board as a Non-Executive Director.
