What is getUBetter?
Most muscle and joint problems can be treated with proper self-care from start to end, without any specific or specialist treatment.
getUBetter is working in partnership with NHS Somerset to provide safe digital self-management for all common muscle, bone and joint injuries and conditions.
There are eight pathways in the app:

- Knee pain
- Hip pain
- Ankle pain
- Foot pain
- Neck pain
- Shoulder pain
- Elbow pain
- Wrist pain
- Soft tissue lower limb injury
- Upper Limb Tendinopathy
- Lower Limb Tendinopathy

How much does it cost?
getUBetter is free to all Somerset residents aged over 18 registered with a Somerset GP practice.
How do I access it?
Use your email to create an account on the app. Then follow the instructions on the app, get your recovery plan and get better.
Access with touch-to-speak
getUBetter has introduced touch-to-speak (TTS) – a new powerful feature to improve access and serve impactful content to a wider range of patients across Somerset. This means that users will be able to turn any text into audio in the language of their choosing, transforming their digital experience with just a touch of a finger.
