If you are planning a visit to the Bath & West Country Festival this bank holiday weekend you can also get your COVID-19 vaccination at a pop-up clinic at this year’s festival.
The pop up clinic will run from 9am – 5pm on Friday 27, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 August. It will be at stands 38 and 39 on Avenue A, opposite the stables which are between ring 2 and the Main Lawn.
The team of vaccinators will be giving vaccinations to anyone aged 16 and over and will be offering first or second doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and second doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Caroline Upton, Head of Nursing and Quality for the Somerset vaccination programme, said: “We are delighted to be coming back to the Bath & West Showground. We spent many very successful and happy months at our large vaccination site at the showground and vaccinated over 75,000 here. We recently moved the large vaccination centre to the Haynes Motor Museum but are so looking forward to coming back for the weekend and being part of this well-loved Somerset event.
“Whether you’ve come along to enjoy the performance, the trade stalls, food and drink, the dogs, horses or livestock, if you are eligible you can pop along to our clinic at stands 38 and 39 on Avenue A opposite the stables between ring 2 and the Main Lawn, and have your vaccination.”
