NHS Somerset Medicines Programme Board (MPB)
The NHS Somerset Medicines Programme Board (MPB) is the cross-organisational body which acts as the Area Prescribing Committee for Somerset. Its aim is to promote evidence-based, safe and cost-effective prescribing and medicines management that aims to optimise clinical outcomes, reduce health inequalities and contribute to the improvement of health in the population of Somerset.
Somerset ICS Medicines Optimisation (SIMO) Committee
The Somerset ICS Medicines Optimisation (SIMO) Committee is the cross-organisational body with delegated authority to lead the strategic development and integration of pharmacy across the Somerset system.
Please access the Joint Formulary Application Form March 2026 for the Somerset System.
Once complete, return to the Medicine Programme Board and Medicines Committee secretaries.
