NHS Somerset Medicines Programme Board (MPB)

The NHS Somerset Medicines Programme Board (MPB) is the cross-organisational body which acts as the Area Prescribing Committee for Somerset. Its aim is to promote evidence-based, safe and cost-effective prescribing and medicines management that aims to optimise clinical outcomes, reduce health inequalities and contribute to the improvement of health in the population of Somerset.
